Night Out

GREETINGS!

The two little munchkins belong to our pastor and his wife. We took him and his family out to supper tonight to show our appreciation for his help in unloading my piano the other day.

The little girl is Ms. Hayden, who is 5, and started her first day of school - Pre K- today. Or maybe she is 4...........not sure. But, I am sure of this........she is a talker and a ham! This picture is in front of the claw foot tub that is in the middle of the restaurant called Soda Steve's, and it is used to wash your hands before you eat if you so desire, or clean up afterwards! It's kind of a kookie place, but wonderful food. Salads and burgers and sandwiches, and cheese fries, home made rootbeer and floats, great, fresh ground coffee, etc.

This little guy is Deacon, and he just turned 1 this summer. Just learned to walk, and is a go getter! Takes off and climbs up steps and on chairs and all over. Also a ham..... loves having his picture taken.

It was a very enjoyable evening, with good food and wonderful fellowship. We are so blessed to have the beginnings of a great church family. It takes a while to build one, but Pastor Kerry and Cassie make it pretty easy and are a good foundation.

Oh! I got my van back today. Yay! The brakes work great, the check engine light is off, the brake light is off, and it's not telling me I'm low on brake fluid! They said it was ready yesterday and they called and left a message, but we didn't get it (the message or the car). Anyway, nice to have it back. Went to WalMart after picking it up and bought groceries and got medicine refills. So had a busy afternoon.

I have lots of things to be thankful for today, and will surely give thanks to the Lord. I hope your day was good. Take care and God Bless.
