Tomatoes

GREETINGS!

Something is dreadfully wrong with my tomatoes!  Look at the plants......they are georgeous!

Now, look at the tomatoes!  They are not so georgeous!  Last year we had blossom end rot; this year they are splitting.  Anyone know why that is?  I'm willing to listen!!

And the one on the right is my favorite Cherokee Heritage!  At this rate I'll never get a good ripe one, and they are so delicious!  We do cut out the bad spots and eat what's left, but it would be nice to have a whole, unblemished tomato!  I'd love to hear your theories............  Maybe the drought?  It's in the upper 90's again all week.

That's all I know for now.  Until next time, take care and God bless you and yours.  I am still grateful to our Lord for all He gives me -- even with imperfections!!  After all, doesn't He like us with ours? :)

I don't know what causes that either, Ardith~ we had that happen one year and someone told us we were watering them at the wrong time! (huh?)
But you are so right~ God is still good! :)

I have heard it is from irregular watering. Watering them at the same time with the right amount of water should help clear this up. Good luck.
