GREETINGS!
A couple weeks ago I bought some paint for my bedroom, and just hadn't gotten in the mood to pick up the roller and brush since. BUT today........I started. The walls were/are white, and as you can see from this corner shot, they are now a beautiful, rich, deep Jade color. Sometimes you can see gray, or blue-gray or a green, depending on how the light is hitting it I suppose. Anyway, I love it.
And this is a picture of my "reading" chair, which goes really well with the new wall color. I'm just very pleased. HOWEVER, it was in the 80's today, and with the A/C turned off, it was quite warm swinging that paint brush and manning the roller. I had little creeks running down off my forehead and cheeks to places unknown! I got only one wall done, and I think I'll wait for a much cooler day to start in again.
The rest of the day was pretty laid back; did dishes, fried some chicken breasts and made a big salad for supper, with some yeast rolls and peaches. Ronnie was all hot and tired from putting in several hours working on the blasted tractor, and doesn't feel like eating much under those circumstances. He's made 3 trips to Checotah this week (60 miles each round trip)for that tractor and has around 8 hours labor in to fixing it. But the good news is........it is fixed and working and Ronnie actually saved my brother quite a bit of money by modifying one of the parts and doing the work. I think everybody is happy now.
Salli, the new pup, is doing okay. Still not completely house broke, but she spends most of her time outside. She and Patch have become best buddies, which was the point in getting her in the first place. It took a couple days, but all well now. Old Lobo got in trouble today for peeing in the computer room. He knows better, but I think he is getting old and senile, and accidents happen now and then. I think he has Alzheimers' (sp) cause sometimes when I put him outside and tell him to go potty, he stands on the porch and looks around like he can't remember what he's supposed to do! Just stares into space. Oh well, I guess we'll all be there sooner or later!
That's all I know. Take care and God Bless.

Love your chair and your paint color.
Sure wish you were closer so you could help me paint this house. Joe won't get in the mood.
That paint color looks wonderful with the chair!
Blessings,
Lorilee
